Also, the correct alignment will put less stress on the water pump bearing. They come in three different thicknesses. You will have to play around with the shims to get the perfect fit. In every motor I put together the pulleys have been off. Now you can get it perfect. The auction is for 3 shims, they go between the water pump face and the inside of the upper pulley.
