Blanking plugs into the exhaust module. Unlike the factory setup, even in dynamic mode the exhaust valve doesn't fully open throughout the complete rev range. As soon as you pull off the exhaust valve closes and only reopens above 3000rpm, by carrying out this modification you get a deeper note lower down in the rev range.
