This raised radiator filler neck is manufactured from mild steel and is ideal as a replacement for a damaged or corroded neck, or for use in a new custom cooling system build. The neck is supplied in an unfinished condition and may show light surface rust from storage. This is normal for untreated mild steel and should be cleaned prior to welding, brazing, or soldering. Designed to accept a standard radiator pressure cap, the neck features a 56 mm outer diameter at the cap locking area (the largest section where the cap twists and locks into place).
