Dated 9E20 4. History: In 1969 the Ford factory sponsored NASCAR teams had access to the ultra-rare SK-42501 aluminum water pump. This pump started as a production water pump, but Ford pulled 100 pieces aside; to have the by-pass tube modified, to mate up with the NASCAR crossover tube and also had the impeller modified to 3.75" to decrease horsepower draw-down!
