Unlike basic tuning boxes, the JB4 includes a fully programmable CANbus system, upgradable firmware, and data logging. It can also read and delete fault codes and includes safety strategies such as keeping boost lower until oil and coolant temperatures are up, and switching to a low-boost map if overheating, lean conditions, excessive knock, or overboost are detected.
