(1) FUNCTION -- Protect the fuel system. The design of the CP4 pump makes it prone to failures, especially under low lubrication conditions. This Bypass Kit could filters out debris from the CP4 pump before it goes on to the tank to protect the fuel injectors, rails, lines, and tank from CP4 debris.
