These plugs are heat rating 7 which is equivalent to the stock plug. This is good for mildly modified engines and you get the benefit of the ridium technology- better starting, more efficient combustion and increased efficiency. For more highly tuned engines we also stock HKS 8 rated plugs, as well as ultra cold HKS 9 heat rated plugs.
