These manifolds are intended for 1995 and earlier blocks using the 1996 and later Vortec (Gen 1+) cylinder heads or the EDL E-Tec heads. They can also be used on 1996 and later Vortec engines, but require running a short length of heater hose from a pipe tapped hole in the front of the manifold to the 5/8 in.
