Non-Thermal Fan Clutches does not have a thermostatic valve. Instead, the clutch is connected to the shaft of the water pump and is always engaged. The cost of non-thermal clutches is generally lower than that of thermal clutches, so they are often a cost-saving alternative to standard load thermal clutches.
