A properly functioning Heater Core will keep the vehicle cabin warm; which in certain climates is essential to driver and passenger comfort. Corroded and leaking Heater Cores will leak antifreeze into the cabin, be unable to maintain a comfortable temperature and cause engine overheat due to lack of antifreeze, none of which will be a good experience for the driver or the passengers.
