A friend of mine had me remove this carb from his 81 Ford 4x4 F100 and install a new aftermarket carb. Reason for doing this is engine was running rough and he had tried adjusting the side jets but to no avail. With the new carb on it, it did run some better but still did not run as he had hoped...maybe this carb is actually ok, and/or maybe it needs some TLC within...don't know, but here it is. Its been in a bag in the shed for at least 5 years. Only numbers I can see on it are 2624. And stamped Made in USA. Mfd by Carter for Motorcraft. # 2-316 marked on lower throttle butterfly.
