Correct reproduction of the original fuel tank designed for with 1969 Camaro and Firebird models. This reproduction fuel tank is manufactured in original style Nitern coated steel and includes the fuel sender lock-ring and o-ring gasket for a complete installation. This is a 18 gallon fuel tank that replaces the old tank perfectly. Note: Fuel tank sending unit available separately. Refer to part number # ST10646 for reproduction gas cap. Replaces original GM part number 3953844. Ni-terne steel is a lead-tin alloy of approximately 92% lead and 8% tin which has a dull gray finish is very ductile and has a lubricating characteristic that enhances formability in drawing operations. The Ni-Terne fuel tanks were original equipment and commonly used in various 1960s and 1970s models.
