On the stock cars it is 1/2-20 or 9/16-18 which will not allow you to connect to the standard 7/16-24 fitting to join lines together. This line has that 7/16-24 fitting on both ends so you can connect it to make it work with conversions without having to cut the line change the fitting and flare the end of the tube.
