This is the thin black plastic gasket that inserts between the rear quarter panel and the housing that surrounds part of the tail light. This extension acts as an anti-abrasion device to help prevent the quarter panel extension from chipping the paint. The extension to body is manufactured with .035 black plastic. Tail light opening gasket in the quarter extension to body is manufactured with .312 automotive grade black foam replicating the original in design and thickness.Made in the USA!.
