No welding required. The low profile vent sits. 493" inside of the valve cover for maximum valve train clearance and use a Buna O-Ring to seal and provide oil resistance. Our fitting also includes a delrin washer to protect your valve cover from galling when you tighten the retaining nut on the top of the valve cover.
